Hi, I’m Tara.
As an engineering leader with over 20 years experience at top companies including Apple and Stripe, I have experienced the challenges of developing products in high pressure environments. My experience includes leading the software performance team for the first Apple Watch, running the mobile team at Stripe, and setting direction as the VP of Engineering at LTSE. I am a Co-active trained coach, combining well established coaching methods with my own insights.

What is coaching?
Coaching is helping you determine what and where you want to be, and how to get there. A non-biased, external perspective on the events in your life and the actions you take provides clarity to drive real change.
A good coach can help you solve problems you were unaware of having. A coach won’t solve problems for you or give you answers, they’ll work with you so you find those answers for yourself.
Who needs a coach?
Leaders at all levels can benefit from working with a coach. We make thousands of decisions a day, which leads to decision fatigue, impeding our thinking. Spending time with a coach will let you reflect on your decisions without judgement.
How do we work together?
I work with clients on a month-to-month basis. I recommend a single weekly 45 minute session, or 75 minutes every other week. We establish the goals of our partnership in the first session, and check in on progress at the top of each session.

I’m not a manager, can I still work with you?
